1975-2015: SSP Turns 40

1975-2015: SSP Turns 40

SSP has officially begun its 40th year of serving youth and young adults. We will have special celebrations in 2015 to mark this milestone. Watch for special emails and like our Facebook page to receive your invitations. We look forward to celebrating with all of you!

As 2014 comes to a close, please consider giving SSP a jump start into 2015 by making a tax-deductible year-end gift online or by sending a check in the mail.

Merry Christmas!

From all of us in the SSP office, we want to express our sincere gratitude to all of you in the SSP community. Without your hands, prayers, and gifts, these past 40 years would not have happened. We wish you and your family a happy, safe, and love-filled Christmas, and a splendid New Year.

2015 Summer Staff

2015 Summer Staff

Young adults who will be at least one year out of High School in June 2015 are highly encouraged to apply for a Summer Staff position. These paid jobs are a great way to learn, challenge yourself, and serve in underserved communities. Deadlines are January 26th, 2015 and February 9th, 2015 depending on the position.

If your group is one of the 1,550 volunteers signed up for the Summer Program, thank you! Do you know a group or youth who would like to join in the experience? Direct them to our website for information about our programs. Individual youth who wish to serve but are not involved in a group are welcome at SSP! Learn more about the Individual Program or call our new Volunteer Coordinator Veronica Russell.

If you are an interested group, view the current availability and see if there is still space available during the weeks your friends will be attending. Registration is on a first-come first-served basis. Don’t miss the chance to be a part of the 40th year of service!
