Summer Staff Pay

Salaries for SSP summer staffers are determined by the experience required to do each job and the difficult of the job.  The basic salary calculation for each job is:

        Your Salary = Position Base Pay + Experience "Adders"

The base pay for each SSP staff position is shown in the table below.

Construction Training Pay

Staff members who attend all four full days of construction training will receive $160.  Those who attend fewer days will receive $40 per day.

Additional Pay for Paid SSP Summer Staff Experience

Individuals who have worked for SSP in the past receive additional pay according to the number of years they have served on staff.  This pay is received regardless of whether you have done a particular job before or not. 

Additional Pay for Previous SSP Site Director Experience:  $200
