Event Recap:
Thanks for a great gathering of 60+ people! This community gathering brought guests of all ages and from all over Sacramento. We snacked, laughed, created, got messy, and made memories with friends new and old.
With 169 items in inventory, over 1,200 completed loans, and 75 borrowers and counting, we are grateful to our neighbors for coming together to support this vital community resource. This event was a reminder that with many hands and passionate hearts, we are greater than the sum of our parts.
Why we love tool libraries:
While some folks don’t have the ability or resources to repair their homes and benefit from volunteer-powered home repairs, others have the technical skills but lack access to tools, the ability to store them, or the financial means to purchase them. The North Sacramento Free Tool Library is designed to meet this need.
How you can support:
If you’d like to support the tool library, we encourage you to donate or become a “friend of the tool library” by opting into a $40 annual membership when creating an account!
